After clicking around a bit and destroying many enemies, I hereby declare that Squarespace is precisely one hillion jillion times more awesome than any other platform. It is highly anti-troll. Everybody's IP address is displayed (I can seeeeeee you!) and it comes complete with in-page Entire Day Wasting System (a real-time count of all page hits.) When I click on stuff, it turns pretty colors, and really, that is all I ask for in a blogging platform.

In other important news, you should know that Michael J. Nelson continues to be my BFF at the RiffTrax site. Yesterday I commented on his post (see #5), and he totally commented back, because, as I said-- BFF's.

You will notice that I posted as "Queen Bee," because that is the nickname given to me by none other than Bill Corbett himself (should you doubt his ability to do so, he has also dubbed Josh The Pilot as "Spatula," "The Spatster" on informal occasions.) Thus do I mix with my peers, as long as you define peers as "actually famous and in-demand humor writers who are stalked by a person easily mesmerized by blog color fades."

There's a word count function, too.

Loving the new blog, MB. I especially like the preview screen that pops up when I rollover a link. WordPress is truly awesome.

Could I make one suggestion?

Could you make the font type just a liiitle bit bigger? It would make reading a bit easier fo us aging fans :-)

Congrats on the new digs, QB! Yes, Wordpress is infintely cooler than blogger. It even has little bubbles that pop up with the links. Could life be better? I submit that it cannot!

Nice new set up! I have updated my favorites. It's always nice when things have pretty new colors. :o) To quote Buffy: Fire, bad. Tree, pretty.
I'm easy like that.

So glad your site was easy to unpack. My office is in shambes and I was told today, "We can finish the other stuff in a few weeks." The other stuff being, anything that goes on a wall, like my clock and calendar, and by the way, don't look for your flowers. (They threw away all my seasnal flowers that actually made my office look nice.) It so sucks working for 14 men.

I love the new site. I have a wordpress blog somewhere. I haven't used it in months but it is there somewhere.

I would like to second the request for a larger font, but please accept my congratulations on the moves to both WordPress and Loudoun (yes, we need a second U) County. Perhaps I will see you at Udvar-Hazy, too bad the last outing was scrubbed. Anyway, welcome to the neighborhood and my best to JTP.

Captain, I would like to second that request. It would be most logical for all concerned.

Re: Font size... I find it too wee for my tastes as well, but, in a stunning display of non-awesomeness, WordPress won't let me change it until I buy an upgrade to change the CSS, which I don't know how to do in any case. Maybe try holding down the crtl key and simultaneously clicking the plus sign key to increase it on the screen? I'll keep you updated.
