But I did promise another video upload, and you were mostly good except for the Canadian pharmaceutical drug bust, plus I want to share a couple pieces of bona-fide dead tree-generated good news:
...my packet from the Everglades National Park Writing Artist residency is in my blonde little hand, AND I now have my preliminary media credential for the Ohio State Spring Game on Holy Saturday (for I am well and truly in the den of the godless state school now.)

I think this is my favorite Jason The Ridiculously Young Drum Major video so far. (My favorite Matt one was the one with all the different tricks.) I mean the catches and high throws and everything were exciting but this was just soooooooooooo cool, and I loved the way he and Marybeth were laughing together. He seems like such a nice guy. And funny, too.

I just watched this back-to-back with the one of The Supposedly Subdued One in the warming tent, and Josh's ground bounce looked... different, IDK, I can't exactly explain how. Like it spun more before hitting the ground, or it took an extra... like.. detour, or something? I know I'm not making much sense but maybe some of you can relate and maybe explain it better. I just know it's different from The Ridiculously Young One's display here.

Are all of you commenting from prison? Am I the only female you see images of on regular basis? That's the only possible explanation for any of this. The only reason you see me lying on my back is because I'm so hideously unphotogenic (seriously, makeup artists have had to REMIX foundation for me for headshots because I am so pale) and this was the only part of my face I could bear to show and the papers looked kind of stupid lying there by themselves. And even at that I'm not too fond of my forehead in this picture, either.

Yes Lissa I see what you are saying. Jason's was higher, it covered more space. Josh's spun in one place in the air for a while before hitting the ground. Both were tight though.
Maybe they just do the ground bounce differently?
Maybe they are different sub-tricks within the ground bounce family?
Maybe Josh did an "indoor version" of the trick because even though both guys are inside, The Young One had much more space to work with and The Subdued One gave us the compact version?
Maybe we all need hobbies?

RE: ground bounces
Mary Beth mentioned that Josh The Supposedly Subded is taller than Matt The Badass, Jason The Ridiculously Young, and Stew The Kind Of Big Deal. Maybe that has something to do with it?
Is it a matter of space vs. style? Seems like a Fred Astaire (Josh) vs. Gene Kelly (the other 3) type of thing to me. Both styles fantastic to watch, just one more about finesse and the others power.
Reenie and Yancy maybe it's a combination of both. Remember in the post Belle focused on *Josh The supposedly Subdued One," she mentioned several times that he is very mindful of the space he is occupying. In the vid you can see people wandering around in the background carrying boxes etc. Perhaps he just made an on the fly decision to not... let it fly so much :)
OK I just watched The Badass's ground bounce on The Combo of Awesome, and it's much like Jason's. But then again they were in the same venue, so I don't know what that tells us.
They look like 2 different tricks to me. Both groundbounces, but yeah Josh's does more spinning in one place.

Looks like a ground bounce @ the 2:40 mark but the video quality is horrific so it's hard to learn much from it-- can barely see the baton spinning.
