Oh, and a just-breaking announcement where Doing Things and Being Places is concerned:  The Women's Horse Industry Association,against its better judgement, has invited me to sit on a panel at its first convention in Louisville.  It'll be from November 10-11.

I'm not too crazy about the Women's Horse Industry Association logo. You need a lot of deducting to figure out the pony tail in the jockey's silhouette means its a woman... it could very well be a male jockey refusing to leave the 80's :-P

Now Tennessee, the official mascot? He's OK ;-)
