I was checking my visitor stats--the blogger's version of self-Googling--and noted a spike the approximate size of Mt. Everest.  The blessed culprit?  Equidaily.com, with the Blonde Champagne link circled in red:



"Blogger provides humorous look at NBC's Derby coverage."  Which is a far sight better than the title the post probably deserved-- "Frighteningly Pale Derby Viewer Drinks Too Much and And Screams at the Television Every Time LeAnn Rimes Appears, Which Is Often."

As Equidaily is the Drudge Report of the Thoroughbred racing world, "Rose Petals in the Mud" has now popped up on at least three industry message boards, and has quite possibly been flung out into space to ward off alien beings.  So for protecting the planet, I thank you, Equidaily, for your very kind linkage.
