4) Red Hat Society (just in case you wanted to wear red hats and purple dresses!)
I totally understand. Which is why I was confounded as to WHY I was getting an AARP card and application in the mail last week. I'm 32 years old!
[...] Mary Beth is over thirty and feelin’ fine, kinda. Share and Enjoy: [...]
'Running for President'? You mean there's an actual law preventing the nomination of anyone below 40? Now THAT is discrimination!
BTW, I remember reading in the news last year that some 18-year-old had won the election for Mayor in his home town.
More things you're too young for:
Hip replacement surgery
Geritol
grandchildren
25th high school reunions
rejoice
5) My state has an "aged persons" exemption from various state and county taxes. Maybe 'Ginger' honors that, too?
Ahh, I'm not yet 40 (close--5 months) but I do so enjoy getting medicare pamphlets every other day!
social security
alzheimers
liver spots
retirement community
aarp magazines and advertisement onslaught
bladder protection undergarments
ensure
Ok so here is something more depressing:
I am younger than you and already on Social Security and have medicare for my insurance. I've also had consults on hip and knee replacement as the osteoporosis is doing such damage to my bones.
I was gonna go with you are way too young for having a building named after you for your contributions to literature, but reading the other readers comments has just depressed me.
...But Kelly! Cheer up. You can't run for President EITHER!
