Choreographed hat waving and towel twirling is also right out.  This will work out much better for everyone if you simply take your seats and applaud politely.  You may, on occasion, attempt a foot-tap or a slight (very slight) sway.  If this goes well, you may petition for an uncoordinated attempt at waving lighters.  However, this blanket prohibition will remain from now until the end of the convention, and, if need be, the end of time.

Do not--do not--dance.
