Dear Mary Beth: Do You Miss Florida?

Well, sometimes it has hurricanes bearing down upon it.

Sometimes non-tourism-related jobs were difficult to find.

But you could always, always count on the local law enforcement.

Lookit, I know Daytona Beach.  I lived in Daytona Beach.  I've more than likely coffeed at the Starbucks in question here.  And how gratifying it is to know that the thin blue line bends only when Frappuccinos are at stake.

Sheesh... now the worst thing about this story, is that it doesn't even compare to the things we have to put up with our own police officers http://uk.reuters.com/article/latestCrisis/idUKN0932176920080709" rel="nofollow">down here!

I know it's not a contest to see who has the worst police, but still...

Another thing that surprises me is that they endured the abuses of this guy for so long. Don't they have surveillance cameras on those establishments? with audio?

WOW! The article said he visited 6 times a day, every day of his patrol. That equates to more money than some people make in a year. Using the video tape that Red Pill mentioned, he should have to pay resititution to a charity. It's amazing what choices people make when they don't think they'll get caught: being a police officer/morals or threatening low-wage baristas everyday for free coffee.
