Angry Cookies

Never mind. It's an angry day today. I spent it cleaning and then making cookie bars, which, when cut into, were all scary on the inside. So I'm not going to take it out on you. I'll just continue to take it out on every...drawer...in...the...freaking...KITCHEN.

Boo! Sorry for the under-done cookie bars! You'll get 'em next time.

I'm glad it's not just me.... My last two batches of yummy, chocolate-chip goodness turned out all weird. I was angry that they didn't come out right, but more upset about wasting all that chocolate....

Aw. http://www.yehoodi.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=686144#686144" rel="nofollow">Here is my favorite bar-cookie recipe, and I have had great success with it. I have a friend that doesn't eat chocolate (he's allergic to caffeine) so I'm considering altering the recipe to use raisins and almonds instead.

Good luck with your next try! I find gooey bars, such as lemon squares, to be a bit more tricky.

If it helps at all, dumping everything out of the cutlery drawer, cleaning the drawer and the cutlery and then putting it all back together can be sort of soothing. The world may suck like a black hole, but a clean cutlery drawer is a cutlery drawer that is CLEAN.

We'll just hide in the bathroom until you tell us we can come out, then.

You guys have a good weekend.

Ah feel yer pain - had the same problem with almond crescent roll cookies. It was trying to finagle the lovely crescent shape that drove me over the edge. Never again.
