Sometimes I wish I had your job so that I could wear sweatpants all day...

But then I realized how much stress you're under to complete stories for overnight deadlines. And now I think I'll pass.

I don't know how you do it, but you're AWESOME!

Keep up the fantastically funny freelancing :-)

Great article, and I truly thank you for the honesty in the photos (especially the "2 P.M." one, I wonder if it caused a lot of commotion that one).

And if it makes you feel any better, your husband is still making about 10 times more than what I do. Isn't life peachy? :-)

Fantastic article. As I was reading, I realized that my life as a college student is oddly similar (with a few obligitory classes thrown in). The thing is, I can't make my day sound that entertaining, even with the benefit of an audience, a digital camera, and a few great writing classes. My mom always says, "Some people just know how to tell a story." You're one of those people, for sure!

Loved your article. You really are the best.

I hope you can keep that spark with JTP. I loved that your together time includes a Jeff Gordon pillow. Sweet marital bliss if ever I saw it.

I <3 the ND shirt.

And the toenail polish.

And the straight-from-the-bottle drinking.

When it comes to freelance writing, MB is bringin' sexy back.

Aw, thanks so much, everybody! So nice of you-- thanks very much for going to read the piece.
Do you know, that tee shirt is from my freshman year. I bought it from the info desk at LaFortune Student Center. That makes it... never mind.

I bet my freshman year college t-shirt is even older....

My DH really got a laugh out of this one - he telecommutes most days, so can relate to much of what you wrote. I read your blogs to him from time to time - especially the ones that have me laughing out loud (which is actually a lot of them).
