I am not a realty TV watcher, but I LOVE this quote :"I'm glad you've found something that works for you." That's life in the real world of work - finding a way of coping with the frustration that foolish people inflict upon you. Go Adkins!
Wow MB, you are rockin' MSNBC! I found you through the website and I would guess you're going to get a lot more The Readers from your many commentaries.
Oh yeah, and I'm with starnarcosis - love that line from Mr. Adkins. It's hard, sometimes, not to laugh/roll eyes at some of the prima donna demands that come up in the work place.
May I have some wheatgrass too?
Welcome, Anne The Reader From Iowa-- glad you're here.
Thanks to Robert The Reader for a stealth correction :)
MB--
I want you to know I stayed up past my bedtime to watch the last 5 minutes of the Celebrity Show last night to see who "the Donald" picked.
I understand that soldiers families need support but I was with Trace on this one. We have a Santa party here every year and every year I have to bake special cookies for several children who have severe food allergies. We even put those cookies on a seperate table so there is no chance of the kids even getting a whiff of the allergin riddled cookies.
Thanks for the commentary.
Hey MB!
I am a huge fan of Trace and loved seeing him do well during the game. The Brit did beat him in dollars, but Trace showed the viewing nation what a true gentelman looks like. (And he made the "BSB" look like a bunch of idiots, an added bonus.)
Hey, MB. I have been reading Blonde Champagne for some time. I have enjoyed the blog and your msnbc.com articles immensely. I just had to post for the first time. When Trace commented on never getting that time back, my husband, who can't stand the arrogance and self absorption exhibited by some celebrities, agreed with a pithy response that I can't share. Trace did an incredible job and made that show worth watching. I would tune in just to watch his reactions to the other contestants. Much good will come of his work for his charity.
Tracy The Reader, welcome from out of lurkdom! I'm so glad to know you're out there-- many thanks for the kind words.
