"Thank You" for People Who Hate People

As a non-people person, this is the non-suckiest idea I've seen in a long, long time. And I'm going to start doing it.  Just as soon as I once and for all figure out my right hand from my left.

Excellent! Conveniently, my husband is taking an ASL class this semester. He was pleased to see this also, since he is a veteran as well.
I might be against the war, but I'm always for the troops.

Cool idea so long as the thankee knows the gesture is a thank you and not a muscle spasm or the beginning of an epilectic fit.
